Adjustable with a hook clasp. Fun for parties or a special dinner with a special someone. Dropped portion measures 2 3/4", dipping it low and flirtily into decolletage.

In a tumultuous time in her life she surrounded by family and taken to watch the Three Soldiers statue installation in Apalachicola, FL. It's almost like love itself wrapped her when   she wore that shirt. Because of the trip, the connection to her dear grandfather, and the deep sentimental value the shirt had for her, destroying the logo was a no go. Quick fix? We incorporated it into the design. Now she can display it proudly in her home and can hug it when she's blue.

Personalized Jewelry, Bouquets and Bouttonneires made of the shirt you met him in

Confession. I snagged this shirt from my sister-in-law, Laura, in a clothing swap and wore the heck out of it. She had it for years and met her husband while she was wearing this shirt. They just celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary and the birth of their first adorable daughter. Feeling sentimental and wanting a really meaningful gift to give them, I broke out the scissors and crafted something unique and Laura-esque. Dang, I wish I had thought of this for their wedding! She wore an adorable yellow dress to her wedding rehearsal that would have been complemeneted nicely by this necklace...and what a way to share their story with their loved ones at the same time! Then I could have made him a hidden bracelet (shown) he could have worn on his wrist as they got married, and I could have made cloth flowers to incorporate into the bouquets and bouttonneires, and for the flower girl...my brain is teeming with creative uses for the shirt I just repurposed. I may even make some booties for a special little girl who's about to be Baptized...

Deployment Scarf

I'm not gonna lie. When my husband went to Basic Training last year and I had no daily communication or proximity to him I almost lost my isht. Before he left he made me and my daughters a "Hug-a-Daddy," his pillow with his shirt on it. I snuggled next to that every night. I wish I'd had something at the time to bring with me on days I missed him most, but it didn't seem practical to wear his shirt every day. To help other wives, daughters, sons, moms, dads, grandmas, etc who are feeling blue I created the Deployment Scarf. On days you really wish you could be next to your hero but distance is between you, you can wear a reminder of him or her to keep your loved one close to your heart. 

This shirt is made from my husband's battallion PT shirt, but I'm guessing you have a scrap of something that is meaningful to you.
