Last year my husband was in basic training and couldn't make it to my birthday.
Before he left he made a "hug-a-daddy" out of an old shirt and pair of shorts stuffed with pillows. I came in to see this wonderful surprise on my table (courtesy of my indescribably wonderful mother-in-law)
She gave her son life. And a balloon head.
This is a little soldier my husband bought to play with my daughter for him while he was away. See the swinging fun he's having?
Created from shirts that no longer fit or suited our wardrobe, this scarf lets our old memories live again as we root on our favorite team.
Send us your own shirts, scarves, grandma's tablecloth, etc to use.
Notice how we incorporated some of the elements from our PINK t-shirt? We like it, too.
Pictured with felt pins, available for purchase separately for 1-3 dollars each.
What you see here is perfect for someone, but you have your own style and your own story to tell. Send me something you'd like to accompany you on your wedding day or wear as a reminder of your loved one or special event...a treasured scarf, a dress from your favorite date, the picnic blanket you sat on the night he proposed. Maybe it's a tablecloth or personal item of a deceased loved one who can't be with you. Think big and I'll meet you there.
